Ace it! - Write a Better Title eid# 16

March 2, 2022
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Description:

"A good title is the best way to attract an audience. The best titles clearly state the main conclusion of your research. The tell the audience what to expect. They draw them in and make them want to know more. Having a good title will help you write a good abstract. It will help you focus on the central point of your work, which will help you help you structure your abstract. In this workshop we will review the structure of a good title, work in breakout groups to rewrite some titles, and give you the opportunity to draft a title for your talk. You will get feedback from your peers and, if time allows, from the presenter. This workshop is for anyone who wants to draw more attention to their work and attract a larger audience. The principles you will lean are also applicable to manuscript titles."
