UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN

Student Chapter of the Botanical Society of America

Mission and Objectives

University of Wisconsin, Madison Student Chapter

MISSION: Our mission is to bring together undergraduate and graduate students who enjoy spending time with all forms of life, especially plants. We will participate in outreach activities throughout the community and in UW-Madison's own arboretum and greenhouse, and we will participate in activities such as prairie burnings, facilities tours, outdoor gatherings, and lectures. These activities will facilitate botanical studies in academia, as well as in the communities' daily routine.
