4/29/05 3:01PM - T14: In our project we will be seeing if the millet seeds grow towards light, by covering water bottles with black paper, and cutting holes in the paper to allow in a controlled amount of light. we will also have one bottle that allows only red colored light in.
5/4/05 3:20PM - Dr. Jeffrey Osborn: Dear Team 15: I think that you have an excellent idea and I look forward to following your entries. I do have some questions about how you are controlling the amount of light. Do you have any way to measure the amount of light that enters the bottle? Also, where are the holes in relation to the seeds? Are you investigating if the sprouts move toward the light or how they grow under different light intensities? Both are very interesting questions.
