Dear BSA Members

Good afternoon! November 2006 Newsletter (on the web at: http://www.botany.org/news/newsletters/newsletter061110.php)

I hope everyone is having a reasonable autumn. Here in St. Louis, it's been very pleasant weather-wise and pretty darn good in terms of the BSA. Please remember to renew your membership for 2007 and mark next summer's conference in your calendar (July 7-11, 2007, in Chicago). We would like to bring the following items to your attention.

1. 2007 Membership Renewals | 2. Thanks! | 3. Call for Nomination of Officers | 4. 2007 Botanical Society Award Nominations | 5. Thanks and the www.botany.org update

1. 2007 Membership Renewals
Please remember to renew your membership for 2007. You may renew online at: https://secure.botany.org/secure/default.asp?lType=2.

Please note: If you have any trouble at all, please contact us at bsa-manager@botany.org or 314-577-9566 for assistance.

If you renew online before November 20th, it will save us from mailing you a paper renewal.

2. Thank You!
On behalf of the Society I'd like to thank the participating scientists of the BSA's educational outreach program, Planting Science. Your Education Director, Dr. Claire Hemingway, is doing a fantastic job in building this program, and the scientists supporting the project are clearly making a significant contribution to science education.

Splendid effort, Scientists! This is a big boost for plant education & science in the participating schools. Schools, teachers and students thank you for your time and support. Current research projects can be viewed online at: http://www.PlantingScience.org/.
