of the duties of the Treasurer is August, right after the Annual
Meeting. Previous to this time in an election year, the present
Treasurer and newly-elected Treasurer work together to provide
a smooth transition for both money and records.
Post-Conference Meeting
Attend Annual Meeting. The weekend of the meeting, the Executive
Committee meets Saturday evening and the Executive Committee and
the Council meets all day on Sunday. The Executive Committee also
meets again Thursday morning. The Treasurer's Reports are presented
and discussed. Preliminary actions are taken. The Annual Business
Meeting typically occurs on Tuesday of the annual meeting. The
Treasurer presents his/her reports. The membership votes on approval
of the new budget and any proposed dues increases recommended
by the Executive Committee and the Council.
