Dear BSA
Members Students should submit a one-page proposal that addresses her/his interests in developmental/structural botany and includes a copy of the title and abstract for the paper/poster to be presented at Botany 2005. Students should also indicate whether he/she is member of the Developmental and Structural Section of BSA or her/his advisor is a member of the section and include an estimate of the amount of matching funding that will be available from other sources. Proposals must be submitted by 10 April 2005 to: Larry Hufford via e-mail to hufford@mail.wsu.edu or regular mail to School of Biological Sciences, Washington State University, Pullman, WA 99164-4236. Although the presentation of a paper or poster at Botany 2005 is not a requirement for a travel award, students who are presenting in a session sponsored by the Developmental and Structural Section will be given the highest priority. Students will be recognized and receive travel awards at the Developmental and Structural Section business meeting during Botany 2005. Sincerely, Larry Hufford |
