Dear BSA
Members
Good morning! We'd like your opinion.
We ask for your response. As you know, BSA will be celebrating its centennial when we meet at Chico
State University, California, in 2006. In the last & current issues of the PSB, you
read about the various plans underway to help make this a very special
event. However, a decision has yet to be made on a theme for the meeting.
The Centennial Committee would like your opinion before they present a recommendation to the spring Executive
Committee meeting on April 8th. The possible themes identified thus far
are:
1. Looking to the Future - Conserving
the Past ( 1wdahl@botany.org )
2. Green Earth - Blue Planet ( 2wdahl@botany.org )
3. Plant a Seed - Sow the Future ( 3wdahl@botany.org )
4. Plants are Us ( 4wdahl@botany.org )
5. Growing Our Future, Conserving Our
Past ( 5wdahl@botany.org )
6. Planting Our Future, Conserving
Our Past ( 6wdahl@botany.org )
7. Other Theme Ideas ( 7wdahl@botany.org )
Thus, please take a minute to think about the theme and respond to the
committee. If you are pleased with one of the above choices, and if the
choices appear as links in your browser, please click your favorite, type
yes into the email header, and push send. If the choices do not appear
as links, please use the email address beside your choice and forward
your choice, ideas and thoughts to the committee. Also, any ideas for
making the centennial meeting extra special would be greatly appreciated.
Stay tuned. In the next issue of the PSB the design for the Centennial
Medallion will be revealed.
Sincerely,
Jack Horner
